At 180DC, we value diverse interests and see them as essential to effective consulting and to our mission. More than anything, we look for a genuine interest in social impact and a passion for learning.

Yes! We welcome freshmen applicants, even as early as their first semester on campus!

We look for candidates who are passionate about helping others and tackling organizational challenges to drive meaningful change. No prior consulting experience is required, just a willingness to collaborate and the foundational soft skills needed to grow and succeed.

The most important quality we look for is a genuine passion for social impact. We seek individuals who view 180DC as a platform for driving meaningful societal change, not just as a resume booster. That said, no single factor will make or break your application. We take a holistic approach, considering a range of elements throughout the process, including leadership experience and communication skills.
