  • Yes! We encourage all types of majors to apply. Every year, we have applicants from nearly every college on campus. We cherish diverse interests and believe them to be an integral part of consulting and our goal here at 180DC. We look more for interest in social impact and a passion to learn!

  • Yes - we accept applications and take in freshmen even as early as their first semester on campus!

  • We look for candidates with a passion for helping others and solving organizational challenges to produce change for the better. No prior experience in consulting is necessary, just an eagerness to work with others and the requisite soft skills to create a solid foundation on.

  • The main thing we look for is a genuine passion for social impact. We look for people who see 180DC as a means for positive societal change and more than something to simply put on your resume. That being said, no individual factor will make or break your application. We look at various elements over the course of the entire process, including your leadership experience and communication skills.

  • We love seeing people re-apply to 180DC! One of the things we look for the most is passion and re-applying demonstrates a true desire to be a part of our mission.

  • We do our best to make the interviews as straightforward as possible. On this page, there are sample behavioral and case interview questions. Additionally, every recruitment cycle we co-host a D&I event that helps teach the basics needed for club recruitment. Come say hello!

  • We have many structured events in the first few weeks of the semester from Club Fest, Information Sessions, and a D&I event about consulting. You can also sign up for 1:1 coffee chats on this page or reach out to members directly through email!
